Umkay does not collect chat transcripts.

Umkay is a public learning site. You do not need an Umkay account. Umkay does not charge for HomeRoom and cannot see the private ChatGPT chat you continue after you leave this site.

Umkay uses TyFactor-operated analytics to understand site visits and basic interactions. It does not collect your ChatGPT conversations or transcripts.

Analytics records page views, time-qualified page presence, engagement, HomeRoom launch-button clicks, learning topic clicks, outbound link clicks, and browser-side error types. Events contain the page path without query strings, the referring site hostname, allowlisted campaign tags, timestamps, and random session and visitor IDs. The session ID is stored in sessionStorage for the browser tab session; the visitor ID is stored in localStorage until browser site data is cleared. The collector does not receive prompts, pasted material, names, ChatGPT account details, passwords, full search terms, raw IP addresses, or full user-agent strings. It may store coarse country/region, device/browser/OS categories, and Cloudflare network or bot classifications when available.

Accepted events are stored in the shared TyFactor D1 database and periodically copied into immutable R2 archive files. No automatic D1 deletion or R2 expiration is configured, so stored event records remain retained unless an authorized retention process is introduced. Analytics Engine receives aggregate event dimensions and counts.

HomeRoom opens a shared ChatGPT conversation. When you continue it in your own account, ChatGPT creates a separate private conversation for you. ChatGPT use is covered by OpenAI's rules and your account settings.

Outbound links leave Umkay. Review any third-party service before sharing sensitive information.
